I’ve done this therapy twice now, and I’m still just as fucked up as I was before. The only difference is it provides you with knowledge. I now know my triggers and I understand how I need to talk myself down but that’s it. I still jump at things, I still have nightmares and I still turn my back on everyone that gets to close to me. The only bit of hope I have is my goals in life. That and there is some new type of therapy/medication that is coming out that studies have showed have improved veterans lives by a landslide. When I get more information I’ll definately post it on here but CBT at least my experience with it…garbage.
